Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch
October 25, 2012 – Some Photos from Our Descent
Namche's Panorama Lodge was an excellent home for us during our stays there on our trek. When we arrived at Panorama on Wednesday afternoon, after many hours of trekking, we promptly left Lakpa Doma, with what Temba accurately called a "yak load" of laundry to be done. When we left early Thursday morning, our clothes were clean, we were showered and relaxed, and we were warmed by the family atmosphere at Namche's finest lodge.

At the bottom of the Namche Hill, we crossed the same big bridge that had impressed us at the beginning of our trek.
Friends along the trail: Gerry and Wendy, Jim and Sharon have had great times along the trail these past two weeks - today's weather was beautiful, as we have come to expect on this trip.
