Berg Adventures Kilimanjaro Climb
Pofu Route, March 14 - 27, 2010
On March 16th, 18 year old adventurer Patrick Guitard begins his climb to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Starting at the forested Umbwe Gate, he will continue along the Pofu Route, which was specially created by Berg Adventures to provide a very unique and serene route up the mountain. Before his planned summit, Patrick will spend the night camping at our Scientific Camp in the Kilimanjaro crater, at an elevation of 5,700m/18,700ft. Stay tuned to follow his daily experiences as he traverses this wild and unspoiled route.
