August 9, 2009 – Michelle and Sherwood Make it to the Top of Kilimanjaro!

The highest point in Africa

Good morning! An update as we are finishing our last day here on the mountain. Yesterday we went up to the top of Kilimanjaro where we reached the highest point in Africa. There were amazing views as we climbed beside the glaciers. At the summit we took a picture right next to one which was awesome. Excellent trip!

This morning is beautiful and nice and sunny. We’ve had an excellent trip, excellent team, and excellent time!
