September 8, 2008 – Ginny Settles in for the Night at Lake Eyasi
Hi this is Ginny! This morning we took off from Arusha and drove up to Lake Eyasi and on the way we saw a number of Maasai with their cattle and their goats. We also saw a few Massai markets that were very beautiful.
I also saw an elephant cave where the elephants come and use their trunks to get calcium and iron out of the dirt.
Tonight I am spending the night at a cozy camp on Lake Eyasi. We had a wonderful sunset. I also had some magnificent rhubarb crisp; the rhubarb is grown on a farm here, which was a real treat for me. Tomorrow we will be off for another adventure; goodnight and bye for now!
