Training for Travel with Personal Trainer Terri Truman

What’s In Your Wallet?

Do you know what it takes to elevate your training to the next level? I guess the question you should ask yourself is “How smart and efficient will you be about it?”

If you go into a preparation program and actually want to train, looking forward to and driven internally by your own goals and dreams, then you will get the very most from your abilities.

As we pursue our athletic endeavors, our attitude will make or break our performance. A positive attitude will guide you in the right directions and take you as far as you’d like to go. COMMIT yourself to your sport. Don’t just go through the motions. If you’re going to take the time and energy to participate, you might as well go all the way. Commit yourself to becoming the best that YOU can be. Watch what you eat. Do the physical preparation. Get enough rest and prepare mentally.

My preparations include everything from spin classes to yoga studios, climbing walls to closing my eyes while on a rowing machine and visualizing myself on a rope team, doggedly trudging our way towards the summit. I want this…

Till next time…
