October 9, 2018 – Quick Stops at Cotacachi
We often make quick stops at Cotacachi after our hikes.
Cotacachi is a town overflowing with culture, tradition and friendly people. The people of this town are famous for their wood carvings, leather clothing. They have received numerous international awards: the town was named the first ecological district of South America in 2000, received the Dubai International Award for Best Practices on Urban Management, and was named one of the 2002 UNESCO Cities for Peace.
