Andrew, our pilot, was waiting for news from us from Lukla. When he heard that we had arrived at BC he flew up to meet us. Then we began doing shuttles to take a look at the icefall then fly down to Temba and Yangzing’s lodge in Pangboche

Yangzing met the helicopter in Pangboche when it landed. She served hot soup and tea to everyone. We came down from base camp to Pangboche in three shuttles.
