September 28, 2015 – Our Walk from Lukla to Phakding
Monday was a beautiful day! With our early start from the Yak and Yeti to the airport we were able to enjoy the full day of our return to trekking life with the Sherpas. We are over 9,000 feet elevation now, but the trail is green and lush. As these photos will show, it's not bad here!

Starbucks of Lukla, a traditional starting point photo spot for the trek.

One of the first of numerous Chortens we were to pass today.

And Prayer Wheels of all sizes!

The village of Ghat, is colorful and full of religious paintings and carvings.

Our home for Monday night, The Sunrise Lodge is just across the bridge over the Dudh Kosi.

The greenhouse at Sunrise is producing some wonderful food!
