Everest Base Camp Trek Dispatch
April 24, 2014 – The Team Arrives in Namche
Namaste!
Today we walked from Phakding to Namche. We started in Phakding around 8 am. It was a nice morning to walk along the riverside. We crossed a couple long bridges over the Dudh Kosi River. We stopped at the Sagarmatha National Park Entrance for a rest. We then crossed another bridge and had lunch at Josalle. After lunch we crossed two more bridges and then climbed the Namche hill. We arrived in Namche by 3:30.
Everyone is doing great and we are here resting at the Panorama lodge in Namche where we will spend the next two nights. Tomorrow will be for rest and acclimatization!
