What a way to spend your birthday! Early this morning Pemba Sherpa, who is a long time friend of Berg Adventures, arrived in Lo Mantang with his helicopter to take us back to Kathmandu.
The weather was perfect for the birthday flight that took us from the ancient walled city to Kathmandu, Nepal’s capital.
Dinner of course could be no less that at Chez Caroline, Kathmandu’s finest restaurant.
Congratulations to the “Birthday Girl” and to Scot and Alyssa. We’ve loved following your adventures so far and we wish you the best as you continue to Tibet in a couple days time.
