July 21, 2013 – Martin, Joe and Osvaldo Summit Pequeno Alpamayo
Hi this is Martin here. It’s Sunday July 21st and we are getting ready to leave for the top of Pequeno Alpamayo. It seems like our stomach problems are behind us (no pun intended!). We are looking forward to a great summit night. It’s hard to believe that 24 hours ago we were wondering where we were going, but we are good now. We will call you in recovery time and we are excited to get to the top of the mountains. We will talk soon.

Later that day
Hello this is Joe from the Berg Adventures team. We are sitting here on the summit of Pequeno Alpamayo and to call it Pequeno, which is small, is truly an understatement. It is one heck of a mountain and it is absolutely beautiful. It was a spectacular climb! It is just the three of us, all on top of the mountain and we can see the entire mountain range. It’s just a fabulous day, it’s really unbelievable. We are only half way there because we are on the summit now and we still have to make it down. Osvaldo will keep us safe all the way. –This is Joe from the summit of Pequeno Alpamayo.

A message from Osvaldo
Hello this is Osvaldo calling from the base camp of the Condoriri Mountain. We just got back from the Pequeno Alpamayo Mountain after a successful climb. These guys are amazing and they have done really well. Tomorrow we are going to take a rest day and on Tuesday we are going to climb the Cabeza Del Condor. I will keep you updated.
