Berg Adventures 2013 Everest Expedition Dispatch
April 29, 2013 – The Guys Are Planning Their Next Move from Camp II
It is a beautiful day at Everest Base Camp and at Camp II. We spoke to the guys by radio at 8:00 AM this morning and all is well.
After some confusion with starting the line fixing to Camp III, a full Sherpa team is out on the Lhotse Face early this morning. If the winds stay down, we hope that they will have made excellent progress today.
Meanwhile Dawa Nuru, Tashi, Steve, Daniel and Todd are biding their time staying hydrated and eating well in our Camp II.
A Rita and Tshering did a carry up to Camp II to take the team more fuel and food, and when they returned they brought these photos of the guys living at 21,000 feet. Clearly they look good, and at this still relatively early stage in the spring climbing season, we feel that they are in a great place.
