April 20, 2013 – Western Cwm Heroes Are Back at Base Camp

It is Saturday at base camp and I am very happy to report that our Western Cwm heroes, Daniel, Todd and Steve, have returned to base camp and they are the only team on the mountain that have completed a full acclimatization rotation in the Western Cwm.

We had a lot of light snow fall today and the guys actually descended from Camp 2 down to 1 with poor visibility, light snow fall and the worst was at camp 1; but they made good time coming down; we are continuing to watch the weather but they are definitely going to have them here for a few days before they move up the mountain again. We have a lot of photos to work on and we will be sending them back in a few days. Things are great here at base camp.
