March 23, 2013 – The First Members of Our Team Arrive in Kathmandu

Saturday is a hot, muggy day in Kathmandu but everything is going smoothly at the airport.

Steve and Katie are the first to arrive in Kathmandu. Married in Banff on September 30th, 2012 and now arrive together in Kathmandu, less than 6 months later. The adventure begins! And these two look ready to go!

With the arrival of the Jet Air flight from Mumbai this afternoon our numbers are increasing. Ed, Katie Braham, Katherine (Katie) Ross, Steve, Daniel and Cassidy together at the Yak and Yeti.

Three of our team members are still in the air: Howard from Canada, Todd from Arizona and Jo from New Zealand.

Only a short time after arriving in Kathmandu we all walked a short distance from the Yak and Yeti Hotel into the chaotic streets of Thamel for an early pizza dinner.

Steve and Katie were the first ones to arrive in Kathmandu.
