December 1, 2008 – Group Has a Wonderful Day Exploring Otavalo
The team arrived at the Hacienda Cusin, which will be their home for the next three nights
Local handicrafts and colorful jewelry are what make the Otavalo Market so extraordinary
Sunday is usually a day of rest and is pretty quiet in Ecuador. A local woman enjoys the afternoon while taking a nap at her stall

From the scenic farmland around Otavalo you can get a great view of Imbabura (4800m/15,750ft). Our group will attempt to climb this fabulous peak on Tuesday
The group finally catches up with Steve in Otavalo. Steve was able to show everyone the sites since he had already been in town for one day and knew the place well!
The team straddles the Equator just outside of Otavalo
