Ang Temba called today to say the group is safe and hanging out at the Yak and Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu. Yesterday the team patiently waited again at the airport for the weather to clear. Weather did not clear and they will try again tomorrow. This is a common occurrence as Luka is situated in mountains and weather can change quickly. Lukla is home to many flights in and out every day; transporting climbers, trekkers and supplies. Everyone is well and anticipating clear weather for tomorrows departure. Please stay tuned!
