January 5, 2007 – Off the Mountain a Day Early
This is Christina from the Nacos Berg Adventures trip. A couple days ago we came down off the mountain on the Mweka Route. We decided to come down in one day. We started at Kosovo camp at about 16,000 feet and descended all the way down to about 7,000 feet at the gate….[lost transmission] The group decided to descend the route in one day rather than two so they were off Kilimanjaro a day early. They spent their extra day relaxing at the hotel in Arusha. Today is the Nacos family first day on safari and they are in Tarangire National Park.
