May 22 – Island Peak Team Reports Success
Hi, this is Shelley from Berg Adventures, it is May 22nd and I am happy to report that at 11am on May 20th Brad, myself and Ang Temba reached the summit of Island Peak. It was a beautiful day with amazing views in the morning, but as we began our descent it began to snow just a little. We reached base camp around 3pm and decided to stay there for the evening. Our climb went so smoothly and we enjoyed the climb very much. Brad has definitely got the climbing bug as he looked on at others peaks for his future. We had a wonderful time, enjoyed the summit and we will all have memories for a lifetime. |
