August 3, 2007 – Mark & Joe make it to the Summit! This is Mark calling from Horombo Camp. We left the Outward Bound School Hut at midnight. We made it up to Uhuru Peak and back down. We are very, very happy – but tired! Here’s Joe… Hi everyone! I just want to send out special greetings to my wife, the rest of my family and my very special friend Mike – who owes me a beer J We will see everyone in a couple of days – take care!
