March 5, 2006 – Feed Nova Scotia on the Summit of Kilimanjaro On March 3rd Darrell Harris reached the summit of Kilimanjaro. On March 4th Laura, Jeremy, Rob and Ljerka reached the summit of Kilimanjaro. We hope you enjoy these pictures from their summit day.
On the morning of March 4 we woke to 12cm of new snow at our camp in the Crater of Kilimanjaro
On the morning of the March 4 we climbed to Uhuru – the route up to the crater rim was quite steep
Safi in the lead on summit day, visibility was near zero but we still felt like we were on top of
