June 30, 2006 – David and Carol See Hundreds of Animals Hi there, this is David and I’m sending this dispatch from Tarangire National Park on June 30, 2006. David and Carol here, a lovely day filled with excitement. I guess the best way to describe it was we saw virtually every animal we thought we would see including a lion who had recently killed a buffalo of some sort and was eating it. We got pictures of that and we can’t wait to show them to everybody. We saw elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, heart beasts, tons of birds. We have seen hundreds if not thousands of animals. It was a phenomenal day, tomorrow we leave for Ngorongoro Crater. So until then the next dispatch will come from Carol.
