March 3, 2006 – Having an Incredible Time on Safari Jambo to everyone! Kerry and Corey here at Tarangire National Park. Today we are leaving the lodge there and we are sad to go because we have had such a wonderful time. The staff, accommodations and everything has been incredible. Yesterday we had the best, most successful game drive, starting out with 6 adult female lions in the morning and with them were ten cubs that we counted ranging from 8 weeks to 4 months old. We saw hundredss of elephants yesterday and many of them very close to the vehicle and got some great film footage. We’ve been here now a day and a half and I’ve actually seen 4 of the big 5 animals already. David our driver is an incredible guide, with an incredible eye to see the animals. We are now looking forward to the next stop at Lake Manyara today and then off to Ngorongoro Crater. We just can’t express how much fun we are having, we miss everyone but we’ll definitely be bringing back tons of footage and let everyone know what we are doing over the next couple of days. |
