December 28, 2007 – Happy 60th Birthday Ray!
Hello this is Ray Pike, I thought I'd give you an update. The Pikes, Valerie, Megan, and Ray and Bill Cooper, and Jo Ann Lippert are having a great time on the safari. David is absolutely excellent, and our luck has been good. We've just seen some terrific animal groupings. We've seen all of the big five except the leopards. It's going great. On a personal note, I'd like to talk about climbing Kilimanjaro. Thank you for the cake. It was a dream of mine to climb that mountain at age 60 and these people made it happen. I can't say enough nice things about the entire team of porters, guides and cooks, I've never seen people work so hard for their money. Things are going extremely well, and I'm going to leave you now to go to lunch.
