November 4, 2007 – Roger's Birthday
[ lost transmission… ] ... After 3 days on the trail, Darren has a new perspective; sleeping bag $100; sunglasses $85; advice from Leila ‘priceless’. After dinner this evening, we celebrated Roger’s birthday. He was quite surprised and excited as we recognized his special day. P.S. Yak dung really kept us warm during dinner this evening, as this is a main fuel source for the Sherpa people.
