May 24 – Signing-off from Kathmandu
Our thoughts are with the expeditions patiently waiting to summit Everest. We enjoyed the hospitality of so many teams during our visit to Base Camp. Good luck to all of you! We certainly will not forget our own summit day on Island Peak and our wonderful guide Ang Temba. Tonight Brad and myself and some friends we met during our trek are going to enjoy some pizza at the popular Fire and Ice restaurant in Kathmandu. Be sure to keep watching our website as we will soon have dispatches from our Kilimanjaro and Bolivia expeditions starting in the next few weeks. Hi! This is Shelley for Berg Adventures on May 24th in what will be my final dispatch. Today Brad and I flew from Lukla to Kathmandu and watched the mountains fade in the distance as we returned to the hussle and bussle of the city.
