June 29, 2006 – Carol and David's First Day on Safari Hi this is Carol. David and I arrived safely yesterday and had a wonderful evening at the Arusha hotel. This morning we looked at the gardens of the Arusha hotel before we left with our safari driver, David. David has been wonderful, we had a safe trip all the way out to Tarangire Treetops lodge which is just spectacular. Already we’ve seen lots of elephants, zebras, beautiful giraffes and many, many impalas. The birds have been beautiful. It’s just been a fantastic day here in Tanzania. More later, bye for now. |
