June 20 - Father’s Day Wishes from Bolivia
This is Berg Adventures International, Bolivia trip dispatch for June 20th. Today we moved from Condoriri Base Camp to Huayna Potosi Base Camp we are now camped at 4800m (15,750 feet) it seemed like a long day but a good day. I have a couple of father’s day messages from Mike who says, “Hi mom and dad happy father’s day, I hope my present arrived. The summit of Pequeno Alpamayo was perfect. Love you and see you soon.” Also from Mike to the guys at work “Hope the 2005 budget work is almost done, ha, ha.” Gail also says “Happy father’s day.” A little message from Karen, happy father’s day to Karen’s dad, “Thanks for being the pillar of strength during this challenging time and thanks to my bother Scott for being such a good dad to Emma”. So signing off from Huayna Potosi Base; tomorrow we move up to high camp and the next day to the summit. Good night. |
