July 28, 2007 – The Adventure Begins! Hi, this is Mark and Joe on our first day in Arusha. It’s July 28th today and we went on a hike this morning with Matthew and Freddy. We did so well and were in such good condition (that’s what Matthew said) that they took us all the way to the waterfall, did some stream crossings and had a really, really good day. We made it back and we’re headed out for dinner. We might have mentioned that we have moved the itinerary up a bit and we will be headed to the other side of the mountain tomorrow so we will be a day ahead of the normal schedule.
