July 28, 2007 Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti, by Toto

Hallo, This is Rob Shuck on Kilimanjaro. We are at Kosovo camp at 16, 100 feet and the sky is now clear which we can then see the summit, the ultimate goal. Doing amazing it well for 16,000 feet. Acclimatizing on the route on Lemosho has been fantastic; that’s the smartest way to climb this mountain. Thank you very much to Leila to talking us into it. I am feeling really good, I am going to pass you to Coley and he will give you his thoughts.
I channeled my inner Toto. I bless the rains down in Africa dispatch.
Here is the Thad. "This is for Jane" "Cho Cho Ca Choo, Cho Cho Ca Choo". David, Suzanne, (lost transmission). Our guide Richard knows everything on the mountain so we feel very safe in his hands. We had pork chops last night and spare ribs the night before and it was Mum - Mum Good. Signing off from 16,000 feet and this is the highest that we have ever been out of an airplane. Take care, talk to you soon.
Lyrics of the song mentioned on the dispatch by Coley,
Toto - Africa Lyrics
I hear the drums echoing tonight
But she hears only whispers of some quiet conversation
She's coming in twelve-thirty flight
Her moonlit wings reflect the stars that guide me towards salvation
I stopped an old man along the way
Hoping to find some old forgotten words or ancient melodies
He turned to me as if to say: "Hurry boy, it's waiting there for you"
[Chorus:]
It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you
There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do
I bless the rains down in Africa
Gonna take some time to do the things we never had
The wild dogs cry out in the night
As they grow restless longing for some solitary company
I know that I must do what's right
Sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti
I seek to cure what's deep inside, frightened of this thing that I've become
Hurry boy, she's waiting there for you
