The Berg Adventures International
2006 Feed Nova Scotia Climb:

On February 22, 2006, members of Feed Nova Scotia’s Hunger Hike Team will embark on the adventure of a lifetime, climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Ascending the world's tallest freestanding mountain will take the team from the plains of Tanzania, through rainforests and into the glaciers surrounding the summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro at 19,341 feet above sea level.

For each member of the team, this expedition represents more than simply overcoming a physical challenge. It is a chance to test oneself, while helping others through raising funds for Feed Nova Scotia. Feed Nova Soctia serves more than 154 member agencies across the province. Each month, over 40,000 Nova Scotians access these member agencies, which include food banks, prepared meal services and food assistance programs.
