Early this morning we walked up to the overlook just above the Panorama for our first views of Mount Everest, Ama Dablam and the other great peaks in this area; a beautiful and inspiring time. After that we went into the museum of the national park headquarters, which has been upgraded considerably since I was here last year with a lot of new displays about the Sherpa culture and mountaineering history. Now we are just enjoying the bright sunny Namche morning. We are going to walk down into the village and look around all the colours, the shops, the hustlin’ n’ bustlin’ of Namche; we are here acclimatizing at 11,300 ft.
