This year has been a challenging one for the people of the Khumbu Valley, but their love for their homeland and happiness to share it with people from around the world will always remain. The team experienced such a warm welcome from the people of the Khumbu. They met many of our Sherpa friends who were happy to bring them into their homes and show them what life is like in the valley. When the team arrived at Everest Base Camp they were invited for lunch at the SPCC Icefall doctor\u2019s tents, where they spent some time with the incredible people who work so hard on expeditions every year.<\/p>\n
