Bolivia Expedition Dispatch
August 12, 2014 – Dave is Enjoying Copacabana
A message from Osvaldo:
Today, Tuesday, we began visiting the church of the Indian Virgin Shrine, where we could see a traditional event, a “car blessing” which is made by the priest of the sanctuary.
We next visited the Sun Island where we had a panoramic view of the town and the royal range. After reaching the top we had a delicious lunch made of a variety of potatoes, fish and corn.
Later this afternoon we plan to have a nice dinner with exotic dishes at La Cupula restaurant.
Tomorrow we are going to begin our expedition to Condoriri and I will call you to tell you about our activities from the mountain.
Let me tell you, Dave is a person who is really interested in specific information of the bolivian culture. Juan Carlor, our guide, has done a great job answering all the questions Dave has. Juan Carlos is a professor at the most famous university in La Paz.
Thank you!
