April 6, 2010 – Lama Geshe's Blessing
On April 6th we had our visit with Lama Geshe. For climbers and especially for Sherpa climbers, the blessings bestowed by Lama Geshe prior to climbing are important. The reverance, humility and perspectives on life that come from this learned and devoted man are with the climbers each day as they climb higher.
Lama Geshe's Wishing Prayer:
Give up all intention to harm others from your heart
And do your best to benefit them all.
If each and everyone feels the universal responsibility to do so
We will all enjoy the feast of peace!
