January 15, 2008 – Strong Winds
Hi this is Joe, with Berg Adventures Kili 2008, we are just at the Lava Tower now. Last night at the camp below, the winds were about 150km /hr - this rarely happens. Our team supporters lost a few of their tents and lost a couple of porta-potties, but we all survived and it’s a beautiful day today. We are walking up to the next stop. To my family I love you, and to my friends at work in ‘Akinsack’ I am thinking about you. Take care.
